Waffles

  • Recipes

One of my favorite meals is my first meal of the day as you guys can tell from my IG story. These Vegan Waffles are so tasty, simple, and easy to make. Only 7 ingredients.

All you gotta do is mix up your ingredients and place them in a waffle iron until they’re nice and brown. Then, top them with your favorite sauce, or yogurt and fruits for a nutrient-packed meal!

  • PANCAKE MIX: I use Bob’s Red Mill Paleo Baking Flour grain free. You can use any of your choices. I love this one it has 4 clean ingredients and perfectly proportioned ingredients Almond flour, Arrowroot Starch, Organic Coconut flour, and Tapioca flour.
  • VEGETABLE MILK: I used Oat three trees with seeds. Ingredients are Filtered Water, Gluten-free Oats, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, and Flaxseeds for all the nutrients of the seeds. You can use any of your preferences
  • BAKING SODA: Happily, just a pinch of baking soda can functionally neutralize excess acidity without impacting the texture or overall flavor it helps the waffles to rise and brown.
  • VANILLA EXTRACT: This will bring a depth of flavor and a touch of sweetness to the waffles, without adding any extra sugar. To get the vanilla levels just right, you should use 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract for every 2-4 waffles.
  • PINK SALT: Salt just like in other foods, is a crucial ingredient for your waffle batter. It is also a necessity for all baked foods. The salt amount, in this case, will not make the waffles saltier. Rather, the salt will balance the flavors from the other ingredients and additions. Just like in normal foods, leaving the salt out will give you flat-tasting waffles.
  • HEMPS SEEDS: A couple of spoonfuls of hemp seeds packs a serious amount of essential nutrients, they’re easy to eat and cook with, and they have a pleasantly nutty taste, like a cross between sunflower seeds and pine nuts with maybe a dash of quinoa and they are high in protein containing all 9 amino acids and fiber. It has a balanced ratio of omega 3. It will enhance the nutty, hempy flavor of your waffle.

Tips: Cornstarch is my secret ingredient for making the crispest waffles. Cornstarch guarantees that the waffles will be perfectly crisp and tender. You can add 1/2 tbsp.
