Ingredients Notes:

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of beef Skirt

  • 1 white onion, julienned (divided)

  • 5 cloves garlic, crushed (divided)

  • half of red pepper, julienned

  • 1 teaspoon pink salt

  • ¼ teaspoon red sweet pepper

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 1 sheep’s celery, sliced

  • 1 cup canned tomatoes or more tomato past

  • 1 liter of filtered water

  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into sticks

  • ½ tablespoon ghee

Directions

  • In a pressure cooker, put the breast, ½ onion, 3 cloves of garlic, celery, salt, pepper and water and pressure cook until softened. The pita bread is then baked for 20 minutes.
  •  Once cooled, open your pot and remove the onion and celery. Using a fork, cut the meat. Reserve 1 cup liquid as needed.
  • In a medium bowl, heat the ghee.
  • Add half the onion and the rest to the kitchen until transparent (3 minutes).
  • Add the shredded meat with the carrot, tomato paste, tomatoes and a small glass of liquid. Mix, cover and cook for 15 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve with white rice or cauliflower rice and a green salad.

Tips

If you don’t have pressure, you can chop the meat in normal oil with enough water to make the cube and cook it over medium heat until it is very sweet and can be shredded.
