Cozy up with this delicious Earl Gray tea. That will warm your bones from the inside out. I love to drink this tea while journaling in the afternoon. It makes me embrace the piece, quite and the warmth of the tea brings me and wind down for my writing.

I am all about London Fog in the middle of my afternoon these days.

No need to wait in the line at a coffee Shop with this simple and delicious London Fog recipe! It is an easy Earth gray tea very simple and with few basics ingredients that has all the nutrients that you need such as :

  • Earl Grey Tea: Contains antioxidants like catechins that support heart health and may boost metabolism. The bergamot in Earl Grey also helps reduce stress and improve mood.
  • Lavender: Known for its calming effects, lavender can help reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality, and support digestion.
  • Hot Water: Aids digestion, promotes circulation, and helps extract beneficial compounds from the tea and herbs.
  • Vegetable Milk: Provides plant-based nutrients, often rich in vitamins like B12 and D (if fortified), and is easier to digest than dairy.
  • Vanilla Essence: Contains antioxidants that help reduce inflammation and may support brain health.
  • Maple Syrup: A natural sweetener with trace minerals like manganese and zinc, which support immune function.
  • Pink Salt: Contains essential minerals like potassium and magnesium, which help with hydration and electrolyte balance.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon or 1 bag of Earl Grey

  • 1/4 teaspoon lavender

  • ¾ cup hot water

  • ¼ cup vegetable milk

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1 teaspoon maple

  • Pinch of pink salt

Directions

  • In a special cup, add the hot water, lavender and Earl Grey. Allow the bag or loose leaves to release their color and aroma for approximately 5 minutes. Remove the leaves or bag.
  • Add the vanilla, maple, and salt. Stir to combine.
  • Finish with the frothy milk.
  • Enjoy.

Tips:

You can make the tea and leave it ready in your refrigerator and just heat it and add the milk. Also, check if your earl gray blends contain lavender. If not you can add 1/4 teaspoons to your brew. Just make sure to strain it out before serving.

This tea is a comforting drink for a cold morning or an afternoon that needs to wake up.
