Who doesn’t love a delicious and simple gluten-free French toast recipe? The most important part of the French toast is going to be the bread you use. If you want to make some thick slice them as preferred.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of firm GF bread

  • ⅓ cup plant milk

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla

  • ½ tablespoon maple or sweetener of your choice

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored collagen or vanilla flavor

  • Pinch of pink salt

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons ghee or vegetable butter

  • Blackberry Jam

Directions

  • In a wide bowl, add the plant milk, egg, vanilla, maple, collagen and pink salt. Mix well until combined.
  • Add one slice of toast at a time for 10 to 15 seconds on each side.
  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet, add the ghee until melted. Add the toast and cook for 2 minutes on one side and 1 minute on the other until golden.
  • To serve:
  • Add blackberry jam to each slice of toast

Tips:

You can use any flavour of jam you like.

You can make the toast and reheat it in the oven or air fryer for your ready meal.
