Matcha Latte with Blueberry Syrup

As a Matcha person, I always start my day with breakfast and after, with a cup of matcha. And lately, I realised that it comes way much better with a drizzle of blueberry syrup.

This refreshing combo isn’t just delicious—matcha’s antioxidants and blueberry’s phytoestrogens work together to support hormonal balance and soothe menopause symptoms, making it the perfect summer sip.

High-quality matcha is high in antioxidants. Matcha is the food that has the most antioxidants in the world. It may also help to protect the liver, boost brain function, and help to prevent cancer.

On the other hand, blueberries are pretty high on the list too, it was often called a “superfood.” Because this small but mighty berry is loaded with nutrients. That helps lower blood pressure, prevent heart disease, improve memory, aid in exercise recovery, and more.

This blueberry matcha latte recipe is delicious and super easy to make. A great way to enjoy your matcha differently!

Matcha Latte with Blueberry Syrup

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of blueberry syrup (recipe below)

  • ½ cup of coconut water

  • ¼ cup of oat milk

  • 1 teaspoon of matcha

  • ½ teaspoon of pure honey

  • ½ cup organic blueberries

  • For Blueberry syrup
  • ½ cup organic blueberries

  • 2 tablespoons maple sugar

Directions

  • In a deep glass, add the syrup and coconut water. Mix well.
  • Add plenty of ice to your glass.
  • Add the oat milk, matcha, and honey to your hand mixer or milk frother. Mix until you get a good foam and all the ingredients mixed.
  • Pour the matcha latte into the glass with the coconut water and blueberries.
  • Serve and enjoy.
  • For Blueberry Syrup
  • In a pot, add the two ingredients and cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until the blueberries burst and the syrup thickens, approximately 20 minutes.
  • Remove, let cool, and blend with a hand blender or mini blender, leaving little pieces of blueberries.
  • Store your syrup in a glass container and refrigerate.

Tips:

You can make this syrup with strawberries or blackberries.
