While store-bought protein bars some of them have lots of sugary, nothing tastes quite as wonderful as making your own wholesome homemade protein bars (or Oatmeal Breakfast Bars).
I love knowing exactly what is in these peanut butter protein bars. Just like these Protein Balls, the ingredients for these peanut butter protein bars are simple and nourishing.

Ingredients
½ cup peanut butter/I used Almond
½ cup oats GF
½ cup maple
¼ cup all-purpose or gluten-free flour
¼ cup protein powder (can be chocolate, vanilla, or plain)
½ cup nuts or seeds
1 teaspoon of baking powder

Directions
- Preheat your oven to 180 C and prepare a square mold with previously greased parchment paper.
- Weigh your ingredients and blend them in a food processor (pulsing several times) several times until you get a sticky dough.
- Take your dough to the mold and with the help of your hands fix it so that it is all over the mold and the same size.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove, let cool and cut into squares.
- Serve and enjoy. These bars can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for a delicious snack.
Tips
You can trade the nuts for peanuts if you want.
You can swap the all-purpose flour for almond flour.
