Yay Summer fruits are in season. Since I am from the tropical summer suits me well especially with the products in season. I posted on June Fast Facts all the benefits of pineapple and I said why not make one of my fav drinks when I was little.

Today I bring you something super-light to cool off and give your body a break from this heat: Guarapo de Piña. we called when I was a little girl “Guarapo de Piña” you can make it with various fruits, but its best-known version is pineapple and brown sugar, it should be noted that with 3 days of fermentation they will obtain a rich drink if that time is exceeded the guarapo de piña begins to take on an alcoholic flavor and after weeks it becomes vinegary, Remember to check since the weather influences too much, I hope you like it very much and enjoy it as much as I do ♥

You only need a very ripe pineapple. You can drink it like me without sugar (Optional)

Ingredients

  • Water quantity

  • 1 Pineapple skin

  • Coconut Sugar or any sweetener you prefer (Optional)

  • Cinnamon sticks

  • 3 sweet cloves
