Mushroom Sauce with Coconut Yogurt

I share with you some of my favorite Mushroom Sauce, you don’t know how I love mushrooms and it is so versatile because you can eat it with whatever you like. It is spectacular if you love mushrooms as I do, I promise you that this sauce will not be missing in your favorite dishes.

Mushroom sauce with coconut yogurt

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of ghee oil

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ white onion finely chopped

  • 2 cups of fresh mushrooms (a combination is ideal)

  • ¼ cup vegetable or chicken broth

  • 5 sprigs of fresh thyme

  • ½ cup coconut yogurt

  • ¼ cup of white wine

  • ¼ teaspoon pink salt

  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper

Directions

  • Heat the ghee in a large skillet. Add the garlic and onion and cook for 4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add the mushrooms and cook for 8 more minutes.
  • Add the white wine and let it evaporate (approximately 1 minute).
  • Finally add the broth, yogurt, and thyme and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Serve as sauces on pasta, with chicken, or with meat.
