Homemade Chamomile and Lavender Body Moisturizer

¾ cup coconut oil
¼ cup Shea butter
¼ cup beeswax
2 T. jojoba oil
8 drops lavender essential oil
8 drops Roman chamomile essential oil
Directions
- Place beeswax, coconut oil, and Shea butter in a small saucepan; heat on medium-low, stirring frequently, until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and place in the refrigerator until the top surface is gelled over but not hardened.
Note: This should be approximately 10 minutes. - Remove from the fridge and either whisk briskly by hand or place in the bowl of a hand or stand mixer and mix well.
Note: I prefer the texture achieved by using my stand mixer. - Add in jojoba oil, lavender, and Roman chamomile and mix.
- Transfer to a small jar with a tight fitting lid and allow to harden.
Notes
- Tip: You can speed this step up by placing the jar in the refrigerator.
- Store your homemade moisturizer in a cool, dark place.
